classes are 60 minutes one day a week and run for 6 weeks • Ages 5 -12. • $150 for first child and $120 for each additional sibling. • Students must wear closed toed shoes or sneakers for safety. • Materials and supplies are provided at no additional cost. • Each session will have a small gallery opening at completion. This is where you get to come and take joy in all of your child’s hard work over the 6 weeks. What you get in these classes. Your child is getting an art education each day that they attend a Ninjacat classes. These classes may sound super fun (because they are) but under all the fun are the elements and principals of art, art vocabulary and art history. I was an art teacher in the public school system for 8 years and there is nothing that makes me happier than when I see a student apply their new found knowledge, whether that be verbally or through their art. This is why we have an art gallery reception at the completion of each session. I see it as a perfect way to summarize their time at Ninjacat. I love listening to the kids excitedly explain to their families what they created, how they created it and what they learned while creating each piece. Once in a while, I see the kids places and I get to find out they had an art show for their family at Thanksgiving or they show me a photograph of a glass piece that is now hanging in their grandparents’ house in London! My job is and always has been to create a love for learning and I feel the only way to do that is through a joyful experience. Each session has a minimum enrollment of 4 students. If the minimum is not met you will be notified and we can discuss alternate dates that may work for you.
